Every sporting event presents its own set of risks, from dehydration, exhaustion and soft tissue injuries to more serious incidents involving trauma or sudden illness. Our risk-based approach ensures that the appropriate clinical personnel, vehicles, equipment and resources are planned and deployed to provide an effective response.
First Responders
Level 3 and 4
Our responders hold PHEM Level C & D qualifications, such as FREC 3 or equivalent, ensuring they are trained to provide a high standard of pre-hospital emergency care. First Response Emergency Care (FREC) qualifications equip responders with the skills and knowledge needed to manage medical emergencies confidently, including patient assessment, trauma management, emergency treatment, and lifesaving interventions. Many of our team also hold FREC 4, which includes advanced clinical assessment, decision-making, and enhanced pre-hospital care skills, providing additional expertise for more complex medical situations.
